Would you like to sing but have never tried it before? Or would you simply enjoy meeting once a week to sing with other wonderful people? Then the Hornbækhus Community Choir is a beginner-friendly choir that’s just right for you! This is not about hitting the high notes perfectly – it’s about having fun together, feeling a sense of community, and enjoying the music.

We start completely from scratch, and you don’t need to be able to read music or have any choir experience. There are no performance demands – only a desire to take part. Come as you are and help create a safe and cosy space where we can discover the joy of singing and singing in a choir together.

We begin with unison songs, and Anne will teach you how to hold your pitch and what it means to sing in a choir. When we’re ready, we’ll move on to easy two-part songs. We hope you’d like to come and sing with us.

The choir will be led by Anne Lünell, who has extensive experience in vocal teaching and as a choir conductor. Anne has taught solo singing for over 20 years and has been active in the theatre group Mastodonterne since 2002 – first as a singer and more recently as a vocal coach.

Duration: 8 weeks. We meet 9 times (final session on 17 March 2026)

Time: Every Tuesday, 5:00–7:00 pm

Location: Hornbækhus, Skovvej 7, Hornbæk

Price: DKK 800 for the entire course

Everyone is welcome – regardless of age, voice type, or confidence in singing.
