Would you like to sing, but have never tried it before? Or would you simply like to meet once a week and sing with a lovely group of people? Then the Hornbækhus Community Choir could be just the thing for you!

This is a beginner’s choir where it’s not about hitting every high note perfectly. It’s about having fun together, enjoying the music and being part of a community.

We start from the very beginning, and you don’t need to know how to read music or have any previous choir experience. There are no expectations to perform – all you need is the desire to join in. Come as you are and help create a safe, welcoming space where we can discover the joy of singing and singing together.

We will sing communal songs, rounds, as well as easy two- and three-part songs, which we will learn at our own pace, with no expectations to practise or perform outside the sessions. During the final session of the season, we will have a small “come and sing along” session for our families and each other. We hope you feel like coming along and singing with us.

The choir will be led by Anne Lünell, who has been leading the choir at Hornbækhus since it first started.
