Would you like to sing but have never tried before? Or would you simply enjoy meeting once a week and singing with other wonderful people? Then the Hornbækhus Community Choir is a beginner’s choir that’s just right for you! Here, it’s not about hitting the high notes perfectly. It’s about having fun together, feeling the sense of community, and enjoying the music.

We start completely from scratch, and you don’t need to read music or have any choir experience. There are no performance requirements – only the desire to join in. Come as you are and help create a safe and welcoming space where we can discover the joy of singing and singing in a choir together.

We begin with songs in unison, and Anne will teach you how to hold your notes and what it means to sing in a choir. When we’re ready, we’ll move on to simple two-part songs. We hope you’ll feel inspired to come and sing with us.

The choir will be led by Anne Lünell, who has extensive experience in vocal teaching and choir directing. Anne has taught solo singing for over 20 years and has been active in the theatre group Mastodonterne since 2002, first as a singer and most recently as a vocal coach.
